R50/53 I JUST GOT HOME IN MY 2003 MCS

I have waited since June for this car, and I am happy to report that it was totally worth the wait. I feel like a vigin on prom night, thats how excited I am. Its weird, I haven't felt this happy in a while, that pure innocent happiness only achived when your 10 years old. Even leaving the dealer, I was getting nods of approval from all walks of life. I just wanted to floor it!! But I will break it in, like a good boy!. The leather is so soft, anyone thinking about getting leather, don't think about it, just get it. The navigation is a breeze to use, and I really love the way the Mini logo stays on screen when you exit the car. The stereo kicks ***, and controling volume from the wheel is sweet. The steering wheel looks different then the one I test drove in June, I think its thicker, which I like. The sun was a shining today too, so I too her on some wicked S turns (DSC turned off) The car never feels like its out of control, it sticks like glue. what else can I say, it will a while till I stop smiling. Pics will be here as soon as I charge my camera.!!

Congrats all black! I picked up my 2003 MCS tonight as well!! I felt like a little kid at Christmas time!! I had a lot of fun just going over the whole car with my salesguy, showing me how everything worked.
I am definitely looking forward to a lot of motoring, although its going to take me a while to get to that 1,000 mile break in point!! She's pretty much a weekend car, but I have a feeling I will come up with all kinds of excuses as to why I must go out every night during the week!! :smile:

It is awesome like a silent killer lurking in the shadows.
You don't need excuses to drive it, just drive it. At least get the break in period out of the way.
I still don't believe my MCS is really mine. The shock of finally getting this really amazing car has still not worn off. I spend way too much time cleaning and detailing it on bad days and driving it on good days.
