R55s brakes

Real quick if anyone is on...what should I pay for frint and rrar calipers with brackets? And is 2008 r55s a bigger brake set up for an r53s? The guy wants me to call him right back so I need to figure out what a fair offer is because he doesn't know either

Think I found the answer. Fronts are bigger and rears are the same as r53. I offered the guy $60 for the front calipers, brackets and rotors. I will be meeting him tomorrow...fronts arent too much bigger but should give a little more bite.

This is a great mod for the street and occasional track time. Make sure they are really S calipers. The calipers themselves are the same and use the same larger pads, but the carriers on the S calipers allow the larger 294mm rotors. You can convert non S calipers, but a set of S carrier brackets can be really expensive. To bolt the fronts on an R53 you'll need 2nd gen brake lines, too. Lots of info at this link: http://www.c0op3r.com/MINI/FrontBrakes.html

When I did my R55 conversion I went with Stoptec/Centric slotted rotors, Akebono ceramic pads, Stoptec braided lines, and ATE 200 fluid.
