I'm a bit confused
 

I took my MC to the local dealership service today for the Power Steering Pump Recall.....they replaced my pump but not the fan.:)
However, they did a vehicle inspection as part of the process and said that my L/R Strut Mounts are broken and "Push Strut Bushings". What exactly are Push Strut Bushings? I understand the strut mounts, but not the push strut. Any help in understanding what I now need to do will be greatly appreciated. I just replaced both my front struts a few weeks ago and did not see that my strut mounts were broken....not too sure what the tech is referring to. I recently installed Craven Strut Tower Defenders also. Oh well.....:confused:

Beat guess is the tech is referring to the control arm bushings.

Have you replaced them recently?

Dealerships are in the business of looking for repair business so they are going to list many items that may or may not need to be addressed. We had an estimate north of $3K of items needed to be addressed when we brought in my son's R53 in the the power steering pump recall.

And no, we didn't have them go to town on all the items on their list, but the list did validate the items on our list of things to refresh.
