yes, he makes quite a few parts for mini's and I don't think anyone has said any bad things about them. I have his swaybar endlinks. but not the control arms.

When in doubt.....
You would be putting yourself, your passengers and the integrity of you motor vehicle into the hands of an unknown element.
There are vendors listed here on NAM that trade in quality/proven hardware that has stood the test of time and the track.

PS: Notice this was posted only seconds after Saltysalt posted his comment. But still...

for what its worth, the quality of the pieces seem quite high. I also work in manufacturing, they don't look/feel like Chinese made

They look really nice. It's amazing how low you can get the price down on a quality made part when you are not paying for advertising, insurance, building maintenance, employees paychecks, and their healthcare like the big name brand guys do

you should avoid knock offs and support the company doing it right. Put the big name out of business and who is gonna make the next aftermarket goody?

Just because the guy is making his own parts and selling them on eBay doesn't mean he's "not doing it right". How do you think all of those big companies got started??......they all started out small.....

If the guy is making quality parts and a very competitive price...why wouldn't you support him?

At the old shop I worked at we manufactured parts in house that enabled us to post a much cheaper pricing point for our customers. For example our rear adjustable control arms were exactly like our competitors, but just priced much lower as it didn't take much for us to make them. We also had the backing of our reputable shops name that gave the customer an ease of mind. Just do your research and check on reviews. If you end up not going that route we have the Hotchkis arms here. Great quality and well crafted. I see some of these used pop up in the marketplace from time to time so keep an eye out. Good luck!
