Free "lightly used" stock oil drain plug...
Hope you guys are having a better day than me. After putting the car back together from maintenance mode or whatever it is called, wanted to change the oil to be safe. (Just bought my 2006 MCS a few weeks ago with a leaky green supercharger gasket) Drain plug was so damn tight it stripped the hex head off. I used a 1/2", 1/2" drive 6pt socket, and that B was on there tight! Looked like someone had previously used a 13mm and rounded it a little.
Used a set of Craftsman bolt extractors; no joy. Ended up welding a 7/16" wrench on it and using my foot. Finally broke loose.
Have a Fumoto en route, and an O'Reilly drain plug if I get impatient.
Can't wait to get the car on the road! Since it was apart I installed a 15% Pulley and Alta cold air intake. Going to be a fun little go kart!

Yikes,
Yea, its takes a 1/2" box end or socket.

This is one reason why I don't recommend people get their oil changed by quick lube places. I've seen over torqued drain plugs cause issues with the drain hole threads as listed above. Be sure to use the correct tightening torque now that you got it off, which is 25 Nm (18 ft-lbs).
