R50 thrust bearing replacement

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all, I just replaced the thrust bearing and clutch on my 03 R50 Cooper non S, when I was removing the bell housing a rubber clamp fell down with it, it looks like it would rap around a pipe but not sure which one. I have attached a pic of what fell. Any ideas for its proper location. Thanks in advance.

hm, I'm not too sure, but try taking a look around real OEM here to see if you can find the part in one of the diagrams.

That is a rubber protector that goes on the A/C line to keep it from rubbing.

Thanks for the input, found its location. It did go on an AC pipe at the front to prevent air box from rubbing it.😀
