Quick help regarding dealership

Hi there,
I picked up my mini cooper s from a ford dealership about a month ago and it had a crack in the windshield that they had filled themselves. Now that the weather is getting over 100 constantly and some bumps in the road along the way, the windshield now has a crack over a foot long on it. The dealership should be responsible for replacing my windshield now right? The salesman told me to call him if anything happened. Just wanted some input before I call them later today and sound like an idiot. Thanks!

Was the original crack documented? If so, it couldn't hurt to ask. If it wasn't documented, good luck people have very short memories.

In Florida its covered by your comprehensive auto insurance without any deductible.

I gotta check that on the paperwork. I'll check with my extended warranty also haha. Hopefully it'll be covered either way
Thanks
