Need new exhaust

Hello, So my muffler is going out and has a loud drone inside the muffler itself, happens around 1800 and 3000RPM and is not bad but is severely amplified by rain (which sucks since it is the rainy season in Seattle). I can't find much on replacements for the muffler so like a petrolhead, New parts. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this exhaust (

) Cannot find any videos on the sound so wondering if anyone has them and likes them? In no hurry to get a exhaust kit.

looks like ebay stuff, and costs more, just get the one off ebay or find a used in the marketplace, sometimes they dont fit, sometimes they do, many have had great luck, others not so much, or you could just have a muffler shop weld in new mufflers

Either way they don't last long at all, friend of mine went through 2 of them. Really not fun to install 3 times, didn't end up saving any money in the end.

just build your own from ebay bits; just get some muffs (or one) for the end, and get some headers of some sort, have the exhaust shop make everything in between!

My vote would be for a Stratmosphere from Way Motor Works. Great workmanship, easy fit like a glove installation and Way is a great knowledge base for all things R53.

The Strat & Milltek come with good reputations and lots of recommendations, but I'd also suggest you check out the Invidia N1. You can get it from Way, is less expensive than the Strat or Milltek, totally plug & play, and sounds fantastic.

cheap..but drones for many....
and judging by the OP I would skip it...
same for the scorpion...much better IMO, but slightly buzzy, but pretty good for the $$
to the OP...
If you do not like the stock cause you perceive some extra noise...only REAL options that will not drive you crazy is another STOCK, the JCW, or the Milteck/Stratous clone....but keep in mind...performance exhaust = more sound...and cheaper ones drone at highway speed.....and sometimes ALL HE TIME.
danger of custom is you may need to have the system rebuilt a couple times to get a sound that is OK..prebuilt is already done...a KNOWN item.

The reason I want a new exhaust is really at those RPM's it sounds like my car is the pizza boy's rotted muffler car. I like sound, nice clean amazing deep bellow without that crap rattle that sounds like I am the pizza guy who cannot afford to get his exhaust patched.
