What replacement axles to buy?

Have torn boots on both front axles with the drivers side inner boot being completely torn. Not knowing whether dirt made its way in and it being easier to just replace the axles, I'd get some replacements. Seems most people use driveshaft shop axles but not sure the availability. Any other reputable sources for replacement axles? Pretty leery of the Asian axles on rockauto and the like.

Cheers,
Jason

RMW has some sweet driveshafts now, both street and race spec, as needed.

Sent from my Moto X using NAMotoring

I just bought new boot kits from MINI. I don't even want to know what a chain auto part store rebult axle looks like for a MINI.

I have the DriveShaft Shop axles on both sides now and the parts are outstanding. Clearly not like the cheap ones on RockAuto and elsewhere.

I got them from an eBay vendor and they were shipped direct from the DriveShaft shop. Both were Level 0 and not the race axles and I replaced the hubs at the same time on each side. One of the NAM vendors had a good price on those too as a kit with the nut and everything included.

I am VERY satisfied.

I can't comment on Driveshaft Shop, but stay away from anything on ebay, rockauto, etc. that is ~$100 per axle. These things are complete crap.
If you can find new GKN / Loebro axles, they are OEM and cheaper than the rebuilt axles from the MINI dealer.

Ended up buying low mileage (32k) axles from a stock ride height car from a NAM member. Hoping for the best. Figured better odds than crap Asian axles
