there was that guy who was kicked off nam for not being a "vendor" when he tried to start developing aftermarket products as per our request.

he was building hood scoops, wing tip extension, canards, ect.

thought he moved to a facebook group / page... thought i had joined said page, but cannot find his stuff.

Wondering the same thing. I joined the leaugue of extrodinary minis as well on Facebook and although I do enjoy perusing through its posts I haven't seen or heard anything from this guy either.

Bringing a new product to market, even in small scale is still a very time consuming and expensive process. He needed to develop (and hopefully extensively test!), his products, purchase and create machine negative molds and the align with a manufacturer. I honestly would've been surprised and hesitant if these were done by mid summer as he expected. My bet is we won't see the wing tip and hood scoop on the market until Xmas.

In the time being, the original JSArt guy that was supplying the wing tips to Autoxcooper.com should've gotten online, saw these threads and began reproduction of his tips!!

Seriously, if most of us would've know he was discontinuing his wing tips more people wouldve bought them while still available. Most of us have 'lists' of what we want for our MINI and at the tops of most lists are items that are NLA or discontinued and limited supply. By the looks of the original thread, JSArt could've sold at least 2 dozen of these for the R50/53 alone...

Wish I would've gotten my hands on one while they were still available...
