Unfortunately I'm still saving, probably gonna take me a bit to come up with funds. It better work or I'm out $800 after labor, my poor MINI has been sitting in the driveway so I don't get an overdue inspection ticket.

Brakes are on but its too early to report on the performance. R56s calipers, Meyle rotors,ECS tuning stainless steel braided lines, with brembo ceramic pads. They look good and stop nice but I haven't done any aggressive driving yet. Could be in my head but the pedal feel is definitely more solid, however considering I changed everything it's had to tell what's causing the changes.

The JCW brake setup with the the stainless lines is a huge improvement, the stock setup was good but these are great. Pedal feel is a lot better now vs the squishy feel I had before.

My throw out bearing has gone from rattle to whining, time for a new clutch. Luckily my local shop is doing it for $600 plus parts. Can't wait to continue the mods.

Ordered my r53 a new LUK clutch kit, that should take care of the throw out bearing whine and rattle, should be here soon. Can't wait to take her out when she's all fixed up.

Will do.
It's going to require a bit more research before I take the plunge since I just started looking at it intently after this thread.

Installed my quick fit, I'm gonna daily drive them. I've heard they get annoying for daily use but I'm pretty tolerant of annoyances and don't move around much when driving. Anyways here are the pics;
Plus a shot of my new 4 legged co-pilot

MINI is replacing my door and hatch due to corrosion. Couldn't be happier, the hatch is quite corroded while the door is barely rusting on the bottom seal. Good to see they back up their warranty.

Got my mini back and she's rust free! New parts are as follows: - hatch sheet metal - rear emblem - hatch grip - rear wiper motor and arm - passenger door sheet metal - passenger door handle - passenger door puddle light Total cost to mini $3500 Thanks MINI, this is why I only buy BMW
Also, added an Alta intercooler diverter.

Those tail lights are wonderful. Who makes those? Are they plug and play?

they were given to me by a friend, I believe they are just eBays. They are plug and play, however they are for 02-04 only because they have no reverse light, which i didn't know at the time of install so I've gotta swap them out.
