has anybody purchase this shop guide before? Does it help you to understand more about Mini and repair information? Please let me know if you have this guide and may be you purchase from him before. Thank you for your help.

The TIS manual has been posted for sale several times on NAM and on Ebay. To my knowledge, it is *not* available to the public, so whoever is selling it has probably pirated a copy. We have also seen an eBay seller of the TIS manual pose as his own satisfied customer a few times here on NAM.

If it were me, I'd wait until the Bentley Manual is available. You can Pre-order it on Amazon. The Bentley Press has a long history of producing some excellent service manuals in the VW community.

 

Irrespective of the legal issues pointed out already, the CDs are not very helpful. It is extremely hard to find useful information on them - they are designed for use by MINI techs, not by average people wanting to change their oil or replace some small part.

 

Bootleg junk, save your money, the one I got was totally useless
