Ipod 05 s

I was wondering is there a way to directly wire my ipod into my radio with a normal ipod cord. I know i can but the attachment and wire that in, but if i can get by with just using a ipod cord i want to do that. Any help would be great!!

Do a search...
Many i-pod adaptors letting you use the old (non lighting bolt) plug...
Both oem and aftermarket....
But controls on the radio are pretty rudumenry.....the cars introduction predates pods...it was added...but most folks never really liked it...
One issue...
The adaptor plugs into the cars can cause crazy issues of non radio issues when it fails/faults....so know how to unplug the adaptor imo.....
P.S.
The "line in"jack is quick...easy....cheap...
Only drawback is no charging....

what is your goal with the adapter?

if you just want to charge your ipod while it plays, buy a 12v usb plug that plugs into the cigarette light port. then use a standard male to male auxilary cord to transmit the audio through the front aux port.

and if youre concerned about taking up the cigarette lighter, get a 12v splitter. then you can have as many plugs as you want. you can find pretty much anything you could ever want in that department on amazon or thinkgeek...etc.

if your goal is to hardwire an ipod cable into your factory stereo, im confused and of no help lol.
