What's it worth? R53 with low miles and warranty

Hey guys,

I will be purchasing a home soon and see a need for a truck, so am thinking about selling my mini. What do you guys think it's worth?

It's a 2003 Mini S manual, dark gray with a white top, and black leather interior. It's got HIDs and a moonroof.

It has 54.5k miles and has a carmax warranty till Oct 2016 or 100k. It's one of those warranties where you take it in and it's a $100 deductible at carmax or $150 elsewhere. The deductible stays the same if they find 1 problem or 10.

Just had the dealer put in a driver lock actuator, passenger window regulator, upper motor mount, power steering hose, and lower control arm bushings. Yay $150 :)

About 1500 miles ago a Mini tech installed my alta 18% pulley, CAI, and air deflector. At the same time I installed Magnecor wires, MSD box, and brisk plugs.

The only issue on the interior is some wear on the driver bolster and the outside is 9/10 due to a small ding from I guess a shopping cart. Past that it's in great shape with no paint issues, etc.

It's a super clean, low mileage car, that's mostly worry free due to the warranty. What do you guys think? I don't have many pics yet, but here are a couple randoms from my phone.

Lastly, i've checked KBB and NADA, but am unsure how much the warranty may add in addition to the low miles. 5k a year, woot!

Keep it! You can always buy a beat up truck to do your hauling and such.

That's a good idea. I don't think i'd have to haul too much in the end. I do like trucks though!

Still trying to find a value. Not sure if anyone has purchased a car similar to mine lately?

Thanks. Did yours have any warranty on it?

I bought mine in July, already slightly modded, no warranty, 60k only 8 grand, but I'm in Colorado, and fwd isn't too great in snow, especially a modified FWD lol, but I'm sure you could easily get 10k, but if I were you, I'd ask 11OBO

I bought mine about a month ago, 85k MCS, pretty good condition, a couple dings, needed about 100$ in work on the A/C --- $7200 which seems low for the ones I've seen around PA, MD, VA.
