R53 Tune Help
Can anyone help me with describing what would be the best ECU tune for my 05 R53 would be. Is it best to just do an unchip, I think I saw one in the marketplace. Or should I take it to a MINI specialist and have them load on one I buy. What's the best one in your opinion for longevity but also best performance. When I get the tune I'll have a 17% pulley, exhaust, CAI, and sway bar. Thanks

Don't bother with the Unichip, it got the nickname Useless chip for a reason, they just don't work like they say.
Otherwise your welcome to come down to Atl and we'll do a full custom tune for you. Or send us your ECU and we'll do a basic tune for you.

What part of the country do you live?
Getting a tune from someplace in the general region is good....that way if you have issues with the tune, getting the tune corrected will be simpler...tunes can be done remotely, but require more scheduling to make it work....
And be sure the tuner knows your goals.....simply put, an aggressive race tune is a bit different than a safer daily driver/commuter tune. Communication is key. You are paying for the skills and knowledge of the tuner to do one run batch of runs....perhaps a fee for updates...do not expect to have a tuner waiting on you for $350.....when you are done...he has your $$, you have a tune.
Have you car running 100% before a tune....if you do have issues know how to get intouch with the tuner....do they have a local/regional shop? Do they answer the phone? Email?
