Brake lights stuck on and Cruise control doesn't work
 

My 2002 S has brake lights stay stuck on when ignition on, and at the same time the cruise control doesn't work, cc light blinks. Tried the search but people don't have both happen together. I wonder if I should change the brake light switch :confused:

Sounds like a good place to start. Possible general module as well

On my 2006 the brake switch is mounted in a ajustable mount. Mine has moved a couple times and caused the same kind of problems

The problem is fixed with a new brake light switch. (The part is $72 out the door at dealer :eek: omg , so I bought a used one from a part-out.)
After the brake light problem was fixed, the cruise control still wouldn't activate; however, it fixed by itself all of a sudden after two days.
