High milage CVTs ?

Does anyone have a high milage CVT Cooper? If so, how many miles do you have on it, and what did you do to get it that far?

I bought my '03 with 110k on it and the CVT already "blowed up", so I don't know what the previous owner(s) did to get it that far.

MINI for a LONG time said no fluid changes were needed...lifetime fluid.
But as early as 2005, the more "progressive" dealers were doing regular fluid changes....
There was a mod here, If I remember right, that got about 100,000 miles out of one...traded it in as soon as it did something funny if I remember when it would still pass a pre-buy as suggested by MINI.....bet it was sold at auction to another dealer...
Most folks that get a longer life (unscientific, just reading between the lines) seem to drive very...er..gently. They seem to go FAST when driven as MANY folks LIKE to drive a MINI.
Hopefully that Mod will chime in...I THINK they might still be around.

I have 114K on the 05 'Justa'.

Changed the trans fluid today, and the Mini service records indicate it
was changed at 30K and 60K.

We have a club member with over 200K (regular fluid changes every 30K) who tracks his car regularly, and another closing in on 150K, both with no issues.
