R50/53 Clubman tire as spare for MCS?
Clubman tire as spare for MCS?
I have a '06 MCS. Will a 175/65-15 tire and wheel from a 2010 Clubman work as a spare? I realize that if I have a flat on the front I may have to move a good tire from the back to the front and put this spare on the back.
I remembered reading something about wheel specs changing halfway through a model year, seemingly just to confuse us all.
This may be stickied at NAM somewhere, but MINI2 is a great resource too, though their speak is about kilometers rather than miles, most stuff is the same.

Hope it helps.
You'll find this, and a ton of other info too;
NOTE: The information below applies only to wheels for R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57 models. Wheels for R60 models have a different bolt pattern and will therefore not fit.
On July 12, 2006 the size of wheel bolts was changed from M12x1.5 to M14x1.25. There exists a misconception that this change in wheel bolt size precludes fitting early OEM wheels on later model cars. This is simply not true as all OEM wheels have holes large enough for either size wheel bolt.
