Center dome light doesn't ALWAYS work???

My center dome light doesn't ALWAYS come on I've sanded the terminal endings both inside and on the bulb the foot lights always come on so I assume fuse isn't bad although maybe I should check lol I even used bulb grease for no chance of rust and hope for better connection still a bit dodgy anyone else have this issue? I've taken it apart and all connections appear ok.

Theres probably a short in the wiring or the switch.

Mine has done this for years (upon unlocking doors.) Very intermittent, no solution in sight. :no:
