What are these wires?

Looks like I had a mouse get into my engine and chew on a few things including the wires in the below picture. They don't seem to be chewed all the way through but I will need to fix them. But more importantly.....what are they?

It also chewed a hose which I believe is for the washer fluid to either the windshield or the headlight.

Wow,
Hopefully you can fix that.

Looks like the hose to the washers on the passenger side of your MINI. Bought by meter.

On the driver side i think that's the one wire that control the headlight washer tanks and the turn signal.

You can match up the wires and connect them , solder and electrical or shrink wrap. I would also re wrap them on top of the that with the cloth webbed tape just to be safe.

Good luck and hope you get things fixed.

ahh yes you did reply previously. I talked with the the Mini dealership again and he advised those wires (in my attached picture) are not the engine harness wires but that they will fix those also. I guess I never saw the damage that he is speaking of.

I am a little disapointed with the dealership becuase I just had my Mini in there 2 weeks ago for a $700 service which included a major inspection of everything but clearly they missed the engine wiring harness and the wires in my picture which are very obvious.

I didn't think about asking my insurance if it covers something like this. I will give them a call. Thanks.
