I am in the process of ordering my MCS and am thinking I want to get a BRG one. I can't decide if I want the white roof, or the body color roof. Anyone out there have a BRG mini with the body color roof. Would love to see a picture of it to get a feel for the look.

Thanks!

Search here. You'll find plenty.

(I'd go with a white roof, though.)

BRG/W=classic and classy British racing heritage look. Always in style and hard to argue with.

BRG/BRW=a great look and lends itself more to experimentation...such as viper stripes or edge striping. Also chrome mirror caps. Heck, if ya got desperate, have Cooper Flags do ya a white roof for a season or two if you really want to try it out. Or a Union Jack in shades of BRW and grey like we see on silver MINIs, just skewed slightly for BRG.

I'm picking up my BRG MCS with black roof and bonnet stripes on Wednesday. I think the BRG/black combo looks really sweet. here is a thread started by a dude who has the same color combo that I'm getting:

REPENT!!! REPENT!!! BRG MINI's are nothing but trouble plus they are bug ugly. This whoe site is littered with posts about how terrible the build quality is on the BRG's, how much trouble they are and I have even heard it whispered that the paint peels off. I would tread VERY, VERY carefully if I was thinking of a BRG MINI....to hear tell on this site, they seem to be pretty bad news......
