sounds like its rubbing on something ... are you sure you properly inserted in the supercharger shaft ?
Also i would verify the belt schematic to make sure you replaced it properly
Last thought would be to make sure you torque de pulley bolts to the same number ... im assuming you have a WMW pulley where there are 4 bolts

Hope your problem gets fixed soon and that you can enjoy your new found power

Did you put on a tensioner stop, and if so, is it the WMW tensioner stop?

yes noonzio we did put the stop and and it is a WMW stop. also my mechanic showed me the tensioner when it was off the car and it seemed like it was barely working...like not that easy to pull in and out.

it almost looks like the belt is off by one tooth slid towards the engine in the video. There shouldn't be any ridges showing on the pulley at all.

If its a rattle you're hearing then its the tensioner stop (it vibrates back and forth because there are no washers or any form of rubber gromets between it and the bolts its sitting on) - the rattle is unbearable in my car and I'm having mine removed this weekend.

The car was checked out today and the noise was gone. Gonna get it looked at again tomorrow.

Also my apparently my ECM is bad. Should I try and find a used one or just go brand new?

I have an R53 ECU I will sell ya if yours is bad, you will just have to pay to have it "aligned" to your car but it will be boatloads cheaper than buying a brand new one. PM if interested.

Sorry for the misinformation. I meant to say the BCM aka body control module is bad. The tail lights work but the brake lights and turn signals are out...bulbs are good and so are the fuses.

Update on the car...the noise went away and the cars running great with no more weird noise. The belt is on the pulley the right way and the tensioner stop does not rattle loud enough for me to not want it on the car.

Anybody got any recommendation for the BCM? I don't want to get a used one and have the same common problem occur again. Has anybody ever dissected the BCM to see if you can somehow fix the loose connection or whatever could be wrong with it? Also is there a recall on the BCM?

Oh haha and forgot to mention! I took the car for a spin going and the plastic outer plastic on both front A-pillar's flew off on the highway.

Anybody ever have this happen before?

Wow, that is really weird that the outer plastic flew off. Never heard of that. How fast were you going in this "little spin on the highway?"

On a related note to your noise question, I was wondering if you (or anyone else on here) has noticed any sort of squeaking from your belt after installing a smaller pulley -- especially when wet. Mine does and it annoys me. Tried putting belt conditioner on it and that just seemed to exacerbate the problem.

I had my drivers side pillar plastic cover fly off at 90MPH. Glad I had the window closed, as it hit my window and shattered the plastic piece.

A-pillar covers liberating themselves is pretty common. The usual suspect is windshield replacement. When the windshield guy takes the covers off the clips get broken and the cover just gets stuffed in place. With broken clips the cover takes flight.

I left the tensioner top on the car. I think my mechanic put some washer in between the bolt an the stop so it doesn't rattle as much. I can barely hear it now but i'd have to try had to.

Ya the window must have been replaced cuz there's a tab on each side that's missing.

Now gotta find some replacements!
