OK, not really, but here's the story.

We have a lot of pollen down here in FL right now. If you leave your car outside for a few days, it will be covered with green dust.

Yesterday morning I got to work and noticed something weird when I got out of the car. The whole hood was covered with green pollen cat footprints. "That's annoying," I thought. "Where did those come from?"

Then, last night, I had to make a late run to the store. I went out and got in the car, which was in the garage with the windows open. As soon as I started it, I saw something weird out of the corner of my eye. I looked over just in time to see my neighbor's cat jumping out my passenger side window!   It had been hanging out in my backseat, getting it all dirty and hairy!

Bad kitty! Next time, I'm going to let the dog out and teach that cat a lesson!

Good thing you chased it out... they often "mark" their territory in vehicles. Stinky.

Keep the windows up and the garage door down, easiest solution. This is from another Florida pollen covered MINI owner.

You could recieve much worse treatment from a cat. Years ago I had a 1965 Triumph TR4 convertible and my wife had a problem cat. She put up with the TR4 and I put up with the cat, even though I'm a dog person. One night the cat was outside and stuck up a tree over the driveway and next to the house. I told her I would climb out from the roof and get it the next morning and that a night in the tree might teach the creature a lesson. I got the cat down in the morning and after basking in the glow of my new hero status jumped into the TR4 only to realize that I just sat on something soft that did not smell good. The damn cat sh*t from the tree onto the driver's seat of my car. Only because I love my wife did I not deposit the cat in a bag in the Potomac.

According to Alf, cats make dandy antenna-toppers...easily spotted in crowded parking lots.

Oh yeah, I'm defintely keeping the windows closed from now on! The garage door usually stays open though, since we go in and out that way all the time.

PMC - that's a funny story! I am very grateful that I didn't sit in cat poop. Still have that TR-4? Very cool car.

Yesterday I had to bring my two cats to the SPCA for re-adoption. On the way there they broke free of the cardboard box they were in. Talk about caos in a MINI!!! They freaked out! I had a black cat scrambling across my dash, and a grey cat pearched on the rear deck!
People in other cars were laughing hysterically! I was just trying to see and keep the car on the road!

When you catch the furry beast, take it to it's owner with one of these

One of the best bumper stickers I ever saw was on a beat up 4x4 pickup truck in Pensacola Florida back in '77 that said "Hey lady, if you're looking for your cat - check under my right front bumper"

Sounds like you guys would do well at the Kandahr Zoo , they also thought nothing of treating animals like $h1t. It has been said that you can judge a poeple/nation by their treatment of animals. I am not a big fan of cats BUT they are to some a member of the family. Hey torturing animals can make you famous some day just take a look at Jeffery Dailmer.....

yeah you're lucky that cat didn't try to mark your MINI as it's own...maybe it's a female. Male cats leave a scent that nature has made totally indelible, no matter what cleaner or deoderizer you use. The base odor is ammonia, but it has other components in it. Like I said, count your lucky stars.
