I washed my MINI at 5:00AM today, and now it's raining!
(But I knew it would. Weatherman said it wouldn't, and
that's how I knew!)

Dogspeed.

I had plan to give my MCS a well deserved bath and a few extra coats of Zaino Z2, Z5 and Z6. The weather in Miami today has been a mix of rain, clouds, sun and lotsa wind and it changes every half an hour!

Not very encouraging. So I have postponed the wash until tomorrow morning, hoping the weather is on my side.

Mine got rain-washed. It looks good, but I took a paper towel to the wheels to clean off the dirt and brake dust.

Its bright and sunny in SoCal. I'm going home to wash my car in a few hours

It's crazy raining in Northern California right now, but that's OK because I get to wash and polish my MINI this weekend

Sunny in Atlanta, and looks that way for the next few days...ran through the car wash today and the Zaino is holding up great for a beautiful shine!

Man, I can't wait til it gets in the 50s up here to spend a day giving the MCS a nice bath. Spring in Maine can have many seasons in 1 day
Anybody have something that takes the wax off of the plastic trim around the wheel wells?

MiniMx Mar 25, 2004 07:41 PM

Hi! i've used Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer to remove the wax from the plastic trim. It works great! also there are some hints in Meguiar's home page about removing wax from plastics, you should take a look at it

Raining right now. I think it's safe to take my winter tires off now, God I hope it doesn't snow again (although I do remember having snow on May 1st a few years ago)....
