unfortunately, they did not come yesterday my brothers drain plug did however..... but swift is going to directly ship me my springs from them and not from the dealer because they are having some issue.

At least you made some good progress.

I can't wait to hear your impressions of the swift springs,...

I hope the rest of the install goes smoothly, and as we approach a 3 day weekend too. Perfect. ::thumbsup

When applied a day or two before hand BP on all attaching points gives it more time to work.

GL, hope the rest goes smoothly !

Sounds like turning left will be good soon. Congrats on a successful and long waited suspension upgrade.

Looking forward to photos

Congrats man!! These are the days I am glad I bought a California car. My pinch bolts and sway bar bolts etc all came out with minimal effort. I replaced with new ones and used anti seize where appropriate so that in 40k miles if the car is still ticking we won't have an issue with it coming apart then.

I have heard of many people having to drill out the holes...had prepared for needing to do it and was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to.

Careful with heat next to a gas filled cartridge (strut).

yea the car is significantly lower. finger width wise lol... i could get 3fingers real loose in front 4 in back now i cant fit 2 in front and 2 is snug in rear. looks good and feels good.

just one issue for some reason the passenger rear tire keeps bottoming out and rubbing and thats the only one that does i tought maybe the stiffer spirngs and a shock that isnt blow would make it not tub but it still does the other side dosnt rub at all any idea whats up?

Cool. That's the same tensioner-stop I have.... Haven't had to "test" it yet, but the piece of mind is nice -and I like the design better than the cable-type. Super easy install too.

Looks like you're doing the idler pulley as well.

Your whole car sure has come together nicely with all its goodies! Great work.

so i installed the new idler pulley and tensioner stop..... now i have a few questions. how important is that stupid shock on the belt tensioner. when putting on the stop i found that it was completely dead and would slide in and out with such ease. would this lead to me needing another belt soon? i put a new oem belt on in the beginning of march when i had to drop my trans. i had 1.5 holes showing, its 6 months later and i have barely half a hole showing. this i dont think is normal....... and qeustion two is what the heck is still makeing the squealing noise i thought it was the idler pulley but the brand new one is no making the noise. is is possible for the crank pulley to be doing this? or the idler on the tensioner?

here is a pick of my crank tell me what you think if its good or bad and i have a video. and what about my SC lol. oh yea and the squeaking only is there when its cold. once engine warms up it goes away.

Video

upon secondary inspection i think the noise is coming form the alternator, im just gonna leave it till it gets worse and i can pinpoint it. and the "broken" idler pulley isnt really bad. i think there is suposed to be a bushing in the center and its not there. maybe some one pulled it apart lost the bushing and just slaped it back on. im also curios as to why or what work was done becase there is also a rectangialer cut out in the wheel liner that is opening the bolt on the crank shaft so i have no idea what happend to logs in the books and carfax says nothing. got love carfax lol its useless when buying car hahaha

You know moss mini has reman'd MINI/BMW brand Altranators shown at over 50% off.

I'm not sure if it's a new one, or a remanufactured one that's normally $600, but $269 at mini moss seems like a steal while it lasts.
