Ok, so those who may or may not have been following the saga:
My 2 month old MINI broke down on me Tuesday.
The dealer said it was a "faulty instrament cluster." I found out today that each instrament cluster is custom made by MINI by VIN number so they need to contact MINI to have them make me a new one. It won't be in until some time next week and then they have to actually fix it!
I'm so bummed. I miss my Holly.
Does anyone else find this crazy? 2 months old and this??!!

Is this the car that had problems after driving in the rain?? :cry:

Will you be taking the loaner to the MINI reuninon at Seven Springs tomorrow? ...I can't imagine it being quite the same.

You are a good spirit through all of this...and that will help others as we all know that our passion is merely a machine, and the best of them can and do break down. Your "Holly" will be better then new when she returns, and I for one hope the day quickly arrives. Keep your chin up...:smile:

Well I took the loaner to the reunion. It was still a blast! 27 MINIS...oh my what a sight to see! The silver lining to this cloud? While I'm waiting for the parts to come in, I'm having bonnet stripes installed. I've been torn on weather to do it or not and finally decided to go for it!
