Installing aftermarket car alarm

I am installing an aftermarket car alarm in my daugther's 2004 Mini Cooper_S. I have two questions.

a) What is the color of the door trigger wire for the driver door and passenger door. If possible can I have the wire color and pin number of the two wires at the General Module Control Unit that lead back to the door pins switches. This module is located in the passenger kicker panel

Reason: I need both these wires to trigger the alarm upon opening the driver door or passenger door.

b) How do I remove the interior plastic door jam, theshold. I am not sure what you call this device. I know I am suppose to use a wedge device to pry it off. i am not sure what section or what direction to pry toward. My fear is I will damage it if I pry in the wrong direction. I need to remove this so I can remove the passenger kicker panel.

where did you find the wiring for this?! i have been wanting something just like this for some time, as you can get decent alarms for cars for like $100 these days! i just refuse to have some shop do it, using those awful splice-in connectors... those are only for SOLID wire, NOT stranded! but people use them like crazy...

can you take any pics? i want to see if the wiring is the same for an '06 !

yeah, I would agree that most of them are almost $100 nowadays since transmitters has been included but still there are affordable auto electronics you can see. I'd be interested to see post images for installing your car alarm too...
