Hey,

I'm in this club, I think. My MINI made the journey across the pond on the Koh Jin. Arrived in late April. Picking it up on Thurs, 5/13. All in all, around 8 months since I initially got on the waiting list. Order was placed in late Feb. These next two days are going to be the hardest. What's two more days after 8 months in the big scheme of things...

I'm glad your car made it before you left for vacation. That means I'm most likely close also, probably on the truck I hope.

I'm one of those in No Cal who just received a Mini from Classic (IB/MCS) last Saturday morning. All I can say is WOW. I haven't stopped grinning since we left the SMOG place. I think I smile in my sleep now. Makes my commute so pleasant. This car is incredible, and that's under 4,500 rpm. I cannot imagine what it will be like in the higher band and WOT. Gas mileage is also great right off the bat. You guys will be heaven, really.
Funny, a week ago I was one of you in that abstract place, reading NAM, waiting, being patient, now it's real and a better car, a better value, than I imagined.
