Hey All,
Several days ago I posted a topic referring to running out to your Sam's Club and grabbing up what Maisto Die Cast Mini Coopers they had. I never dreamed that I'd end up obsessed with these things. To date, I have been to every toy department, store, etc. in my town seeking out the replicas. Maisto makes a good copy with working doors, bonnet, and hatch. In their brand, I found the Black, Yellow, Green, Chili Red, and Silver. All have white tops except the Silver, which came in black. Prices ranged from 9.87 (Sam's) to $16.99 at Toys-R-Us. Finally found the Hot Wheels today, both sizes. Their 1:20 scale is just like the Maisto, but in Indi Blue (Like Mine), except the hatch will not open. It also has the Cooper insignia on the rear hatch. Their "tiny" mini is in yellow and cost $.79 at Target. I also found a cute little Chili Red at Kaybee Toys, that cost around $5.00. So, I'm pretty much done...except.....I want that remote control Chili Red that a few have mentioned that they got at Target. Mine does not have them, nor did several in Nashville. Have any of you seen the RC Mini at any other stores? I've checked Walmart & K-Mart.

Thanks!

Did you try Target online? Or any of the others online? Alternatively, make some phone calls around...maybe you can pre-order the RC from your local Target? Let us know... I want some of those little MINIs, too! We got the MINI cuckoo clock, which has a little Chili Red MINI pop out on the hour...it's a riot!

I found 2 Indi Blues. The 1st in Kaybee Toys. They have a 1:18 scale, made by Burago. It has white wheels, I think. Cost is $20.00. The second is the one I bought yesterday, at Walmart. It's made by Hot Wheels (China), and has the white roof, and silver wheels. Cost was $17.99. Hope this helps..
