I went to Rasmussen MINI to attend a PDX MINI Club tech session. I don't have my MINI yet and needed a fix. I some how managed not to drool on all the nice MINIs.

On Sunday a fellow mini owner and I took a nice drive through north Georgia and North Carolina. We were testing the route for the Atlanta mini club to take to the Dragon Weekend. We went through Wolf Pen Gap, up to Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA), through Hiawassee, then into NC onto Tuni Gap Road, which wasn't bad, though it was gravel/dirt for 6.5 miles. Then on to Franklin, Elijay, Cashiers, and up to Blue Ridge. up to that point was pure fun. then as we headed home we were constantly stuck behind slowpokes. but overall, what a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday!

VERY, VERY COOL!!! NICE MEETING Y'ALL. READ EVERY POST.
Made my day. we'll have to do this often (not to often so it becomes boring).
Pres Sarcoux, there's some beautiful ideas here for thing to do while bored in Ohio. Let's try some.
I WILL NEVER make it see salt. This baby is a keeper forever...........one lucky niece/nephew of mine will inherit it and I want it to be pristine when that happens.
SuperAudi is for salt.......

Installed the auxiliary audio plug for my ipod- my first mod! Very easy with the help of the forums here. Wire is still hanging loose while I get used to the car (only 80 miles on here os far) and decide where to drill the hole.
Added more music to the ipod.

It is from a VW Sharan, re-threaded to fit. Reception is the same. The thread pattern is the same as VWs, so any small one from a dub will fit. I got this one from a guy named Cullen. Check http://www.eurocullen.com or find him on the vwvortex.com in the classifieds under username Cullen. The S2000 antennas fit also.

I finally got the special plates put on with the registration stickers. It looked pretty tacky motoring around with papers taped up in the windows. Now i hafta wait till June to wash so it can warm up to 60
