Can you tell me what this light is called, & how to replace it?

If you are facing the front of a R50 Mini, there are three sets of lights: headlight, middle round light with two bulbs, and finally the precut circle for fog lights. The light in question is the middle light, which the assembly has two lights: half of the assembly is orange and has a bulb roughly the size of a quarter, and the second bulb is much smaller and is white. The bulb on the left side of the assembly is out, and seems to be a "driving" light maybe? The bulb on the right of the assembly and is covered in orange, can be twisted and then replaced. The left light, the white one, only has a wiring connection you can pull-out, but no obvious way to get to the bulb.

Attached are two photos showing the location of the bulb in question, as well as the light socket where the bulb is located. Can you tell me what is this specific bulb in question, and how to get to it?

I believe you are referring to the parking light.

2003 Owner's Manual page 108 says just turn the housing to the left and remove. 5w bulb.

I replaced mine several years ago and if I remember correctly it was hard to get to even with my small hands. I used long-nosed pliers. Grasp and twist GENTLY or you might break the plastic housing. Good luck!

Yes, that is the parking light and it can be tight, just twist, firmly and carefully. It's a standard 194 bulb (american # for the autoparts store)

I just did this on my mini. Just use a pair of pliers and turn counter-clockwise.

Good luck!

Yeah, those are the parking lights, and mine works intermittently. I am going to try to tighten it tomorrow, because if it doesn't work when I first turn it on, I can walk by and tap it, and it will turn on.

And while yrou are there, if you are feeling adventurous replace your yellow turn single bulbs with the silver star upgrade. Cost isn't bad, and it gets rid of the yellow look in that lens.

that housing has both a parking light and a turn signal. on my car, the right-side parking light was dead, and my uncle ripped the old one out and put a new one in, took him 10 seconds.
