I am looking for a place to wire it in the cabin.
I was thinking the cigarette lighter? Any suggestions?

I have a valentine 1. I wired it into the fuse box by my clutch-foot and ran the wire up to the rear view mirror through the door molding. I also have a mute button that I am going to instal into the toggle switch pannel. Right now it is taped up near the radio as I didn't have the time to complete the instal. Just pick a small fuse and ground the wire and you should be good to go. (The infamous NAM advice) do a search, this topic has been covered before.

elbe I have the $55 "shelf" that goes behind the stick to keep stuff from falling between the vertical posts. I mounted my mute button with velcro under one of the "shelves". Ver good looking and out of site except for the driver. Just an idea.

sdc.. I had mine installed by a stereo store, they wired it to the cig. lighter.

I think people have tapped into slot 36 in the fuse box, for a "switched" fuse, it's where I'm gonna install mine (V1 also)
