So yesterday I saw a another MCS ... Not sure what year but thought it was an R53 like mine.
The rear sunroof was popped up to vent and I wonder if mine will too or can be modded to do so.
When was this a factory option?
Mine is an early 04.

 

It works that way on GEN2 - 07 and newer

 

+1 to 2nd gen. 1st gens never had the pop-up rear glass. Plus, on the newer models, the rear glass drops when the front glass is fully opened.
