how to remove the Fuel injector cover

i've been searching here and mini2.com for someone who has done this but how do you get the cover off the fuel injection rail? it has two clips on the back of it but doesn't want to release in the front after that. i don't want to break it (since it probably costs $100 for that little piece of plastic)

On the regualr Coopers there is a plastic cover over the fuel rail. There are clips front and rear remove the ones on the back frist and then lift a little you'll see the others and then just pull straight up. It's hard to break and if you do it's not needed to run the car more for cosmetics good luck.

if you are looking at the engine, there will be two clips, they are prolly like
5 inches apart, pry up a little using a small screwdriver in the inside of the
clip, pull the backside up first and then just pull the front side straight up
and it will pop out. its really hard to break those off and if they do you can still make them stay secure,
