Anyone with a tuned R50?

I've seen a few passing references to RMW tunes for the R50. I have a few general questions I'm hoping you folks can shed some light on.

I understand that no amount of tuning, bolt-ons, etc will make the Cooper an S, and that's not my goal. Ideally I would like to add a little more grunt to my R50 while maintaining its core reliability and mechanical simplicity. Is this a realistic goal? As far as upgrades, I am looking into a header and/or cat-back although I am getting very mixed reviews on whether these help or hinder power. I already have a CAI. Anything more complex like JCW head, cams, etc will be put on hold until my third-party warranty has expired (3 years.)

Does anyone here have a RMW or other tune on their Cooper? I would love to hear some first hand experiences regarding results, how long the process took, any problems, etc. Especially regarding a remote tune.

Thanks!
