I'm trying to cut a couple weeks off our delivery time, and am considering going with an open transport instead of our original plan to ship it enclosed. Anyone here have there car shipped open and regret it?

I would not worry about shipping on an open truck. Sure it will pick up a little grime from the trip, but nothing you can't just wash off.

Besides, once you take delivery, you won't be motoring on enclosed roads. . .

Why don't you just drive it home. It only takes about 3 days. And you will be done with your break in.

Make sure you claybar the car, wash with Dawn detergent, and apply Zaino as soon as you take delivery. You will be real glad you did! The clay will remove any debris you pick-up along the way.

my wife and i can't both make it out there, and if i get it, the forst time she lays eyes on it it will be 2500 miles old and dirty as all get out. i don't blame her for not liking that option.
