So I'm finally trying to update my MC (received May 2002) to play my iPhone (3GS). I hate the radio adaptor. (And yes, I'm a bit slow on the new technology)
My question is: can the iPhone adaptor be installed in the stock (non-HK) stereo?
I attempted to have one installed. While the instructions on the adaptor said good for MINIs starting 9/2002 but the dealer said it should work according to my VIN, the adaptor didn't work. But was that because it was a faulty adaptor or are the first MC's aux ports incompatible with iPhone input?
