I was down in Miami for New Year's Eve seeing a Phish show and for their midnight celebration and countdown, Phish used an original Mini as a prop. The old Mini was suspended from the ceiling and lowered down to the middle of the stage prior to midnight. The Mini was painted in blacklight sensitive paint with a unique "flame job". In combination with a trap door directly underneath of the car, a full 20 piece marching band exited out of the car (tuba players with tubas included)! The front liscence plate on the Mini read, "03 Phish 04". So the Mini was a full participant in closing out the year 2003, and thus opening up 2004. How appropriate. I'm going to try to post a picture of this funky Mini. If anyone has seen this also or even has a picture, inform the rest of us. Happy New Year everyone!
