To all who are interested, you can get the current issue or 1 or 2 year subscriptions -- delivered to your door. I just got one for 2 years at 63 GBP (pounds). I don't know what the exchange rate is, but it may be that the equivalent US dollars are possibly one and a half or even twice that, but again I don't know as it fluctuates. Single year subscriptions are available, too for 35 pounds. The magazine is bi-monthly, so it is put out every 2 months. Single issues are available too for 6.50 pounds with priority delivery, or 5.50 pounds with economy delivery. Economy delivery takes up to 12 weeks. For subscriptions, only priority delivery was available. The first issue just came out Nov 27.

The website for Go MINI is: http://www.gomini.co.uk
The website for the organization that you can order from is: http://www.carmags.co.uk/index2.html

As of today, that equals US$108.54 (www.oanda.com). Pretty steep. I'm heading to the UK tomorrow, hopefully I can pick one up and see how it is.

Subscriptions in US dollars are $60.00 for 1 year and $108.00 for two years! That's about $10.00 per mag for a 1 year subscriptioon or $9.00 per mag for a two year subscription. That seems like quite a bit especially if most of the info you can find out right here on the site!

The price is not that different from a lot of imported mags. The music mags I've dealt with have run between $8 to $16 an issue. It would all boil down to the content as to whether it's worthwhile or not. Unfortunately, it'll be a little hard to check it out first.

On the same note, I'd hesitate sending even $60 off for a subscription of a new mag that hasn't proven itself a viable product. If it folds after 6 months, though I sincerely wish them the best, what can you do? You'll play hell trying to get a refund from a bankrupt overseas company.

Maybe some US distributor will get rights and we'll be able to find them at the better bookstores.

I've been checking the B&Ns here in the Dallas area and they show nothing in their computers yet. I have high hopes, though, because I think they've been carrying "Mini World" mostly because of our new MINIs. I've talked to them locally...we'll see how quick they respond. BTW, I'm so tired of going through the mags to glean a MINI reference here and there. We deserve our own mag!!!!

B&N is our only hope. However, MINI WORLD costs $7.95 for each issue at B&N. I too am hoping that they pick up the mag. Usually these mags are great for web sites and links. However, I find that MINI WORLD is loaded with British sites as they are a British Pub. Company. This probabvly will hold true for the new mag. As stated earlier, the most and best info is right here on this site!
