The 6 stage hot pink mini is coming out of the shop tomorrow. These pics were just sent over by the body shop.. front pic doesnt have the grill installed yet. Its a hot pink metallic with rainbow flakes. As far as Im told it should be the only on on the West Coast.

haha, with the white roof, I am totally getting the Barbie car vibe from it. :D

From solid gold to hot pink! Is that the Remus dual exhaust?

BensMini Mar 26, 2010 01:20 AM

Very interesting, I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention, but I think I will pass, have fun!

ngweibing Mar 26, 2010 04:33 AM

What's cool is it's a MINI and it's different. Oh wait, that's redundant... :)

iwashmycar Mar 26, 2010 05:31 AM

SteveB625 Mar 26, 2010 10:45 AM

Mmmmmm - Good 'N Plenty.

Nice exhaust!

BigPDub Mar 26, 2010 10:55 AM

Funny you say that cuz the body shop scanned a Barbie ad to get the color haha. Yes it is the Remus dual. and Yes the wife loves attention ahhaa.

Looks great! We have a pink S in our local club. The Cordoba beige is a good accent as well!

TX1911fan Mar 26, 2010 12:07 PM

I don't see any pics.

Dipped in Bubble Gum?

 That must have been some big wad of bubble gum your wife drove through

AstroBlackS Mar 26, 2010 02:17 PM

That's sweet!

I would definitely rock that, only I'd prefer black accents. Black roof, black wheels w/ a polished lip.

Definitely a nice choice in color though my friend.

whole thing including painting the wheels, roof, wing, double out exhaust cut out etc.. painting the car, arches etc.. was about $8000

Paint is dupont and flakes is House of Kolor. The paint process was a 6 stage too about 4 months to do.

This is not including the parts.. which came out to another $4000.

minivette Mar 29, 2010 03:18 AM

my car was wrecked when I bought so thats part of the reason I did it the shop had about 100 hours on paint jambs doors etc I used dupont paint with prismatique so Id say your looking at 4000 to 5000 to do it right my roof is black with metal flake in it

I just had to comment... I'm also from the bay so hopefully I'll see it with my own eyes one of these days, but I was on facebook and my friend actually took pictures of your MINI and added it to his profile because of how cool it looks. I have to agree :)
I'm in Foster City too!
