I'm troubled. Build 10.11. Loaded aboard Hual Triton. Docked NYC on 10.30. Went to VDC on 11.5. Since then (as of daily lunchtime call to 866.ASK.MINI on 11.14) NOTHING. I know 2 others (at least) that were on Hual Triton and already have their cars (1 from same dealer - Cincinnati MINI). Starting to get scared that the "work order" that they had to complete on it at VDC was something serious. Calgon -- Take me away!!!

Eighteen more hours and I'm out of the club.
Sixty days from order to delivery.
She was on the Don Juan last Friday, she was delivered to Bill Jacobs MINI (Chicago), today...Unfortunately I won't be able to pick her up until Saturday

So I'm in the throws of the last days of waiting. It's almost over.
However, I must have a "yellow" wish! My MCS is LY/B. The inside of my garage is (coincidently) yellow. Last night while backing into the garage I managed to rub the passenger rear quarter of my Celica against the garage wall, turning a good chunk of the nice blue-black Celica - wait for it - YELLOW!!
HA!
Oh well, a little rubbing compound and she'll look fine for the big trade-in next week.
And then when I scrub the wall I won't notice. Unless I hit the spot where the Celica has left her mark!

my mini has arrived!!!!! and its a whole 2 weeks early.
i just arrived back in the uk after a short holiday to new york, when i received a phone call from the bmw dealership to tell me my electric blue cooper S was here.
bad news is that i cant get it for 4 days cos the dealership has to do their checks and remove all the bits and bobs fitted for transporting.
still, ive been waiting since july, so a few more days wont matter too much.
it feels good to be a member of the "cant wait for november club"

My new MOTOR ON plates arrived in the mail today, but baby is still somewhere in the Atlantic.
That's ok, because it feels like it is all coming together now. It's just a matter of time.

Oh My God - I think they've lost her!
Two weeks ago I was told My Sharona was on the water. Last week she was on rails bound for Toronto, arriving by today (Friday).
Now (and maybe this is the norm) BMW Canada isn't sure exactly where my MCS is. Maybe she's still at the dock in Halifax. Maybe she's not unloaded from the train. Or maybe she's in the BMW compound north of Toronto. Hhhmmnnn.....last week she was considered in Dealer's Inventory. This week she's not.
From some of the posts above it seems that this isn't necessarily unusual - tracking our cars seems the most difficult in the last two weeks. But - what if she's AWOL? Maybe she fell off the boat, or the train. What if a train jockey took her home.
I'm not going mad. I'm just getting IMPATIENT!
Any last week advice from those whose baby's were also lost at sea??????

Well I guess I've been missing out on this club all this time! I am a November Club member. My car was born on 10/25 and is currently en route to the distribution center in South Carolina and is due to arrive at my dealer in Sterling, VA on Friday the 22nd. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is on time! I've been waiting for this car since April!!!!!

Maybe I'm lucky my MCS is temporarily AWOL!
We're in the middle of one butt-ugly snow storm in Toronto. About 30 cm (20 inches) has fallen in the past 24 hours. If the dealer calls me tomorrow (Monday) to say that My Sharona is ready to go home I think I'll say "Naw, I'll wait a couple of days"!
It would be way too depressing to pick her up and go straight to the snow tire store!

Maybe I should move.

Who on the Taishan (docked on the West Coast on 11/12/02) has gotten their MINI? Mine has been at the VPC since the 13th and hasn't been updated since!!! It's just SITTING there......WWAAAAAHHHHHHHH People around me can't stand me anymore! I WANT MY MINI!!

My MiniM8 was on the Tai Shan. Unloaded 11/12. Called ASKMINI 11/15, they said it was on truck to dealer. Called Irvine Mini Imediately and they said the truck just pulled in. Picked it up 11/16. MiniUSA was never updated until Monday 11/18.
I had a great weekend driving.
Call your dealer I'm sure it's there.
BTW, MiniM8 is a IB/W MCS now living in Vista, CA.

I have a question about december build dates. My dealer just offered me a car that will be built the third week in december, but my main concern is that it won't arrive in texas to work with my time frame (heading back out to california for school) Does anyone know when my car might arrive in texas? Only reason I am thinking about this car instead of my IB MCS that would arrive in mid dec. is that I can modify the order for the december built car to exactly what I want, where as the MCS that is coming in soon has some options I don't necassarily need or want. Must let dealer know soon. Please help.

So, my car will have only taken about a Month from the time I ordered to the time it arrives. The third week build date is the 21st. I suspect you will get the car around January 12th or so. Earlier if your car is released from MINI earlier that week. However, sometimes they roll off the assembly line only to wait for their brothers and sisters at the dock!

Another member gone from the club!! My MCS arrived today and I will be picking it up from the dealer tomorrow!!
For anyone who is comparing when their car will arrive based on what ship it was on...my car was on the MAERSK TEAL.

I'm still here rygold. According to the owner's lounge my car was supposed to be available tomorrow. I called ASK MINI this morning and I am still at the VPC and have not been processed. MAY get on a truck tonight, but probably tomorrow. I am hoping for Monday pick up.

The ticking is getting louder every second! I'm (we're) just DAYS away from getting our MINIS! I can not wait to get my VELVET RED COOPER. In a very bold move, I ordered the VELVET RED (White/White) without seeing one first hand. I have read the good, the bad, and the ugly about VR, but I am certain that it will be DELICIOUS!
