>>Schomp MINI in Denver has one or two MINI CVTs available as loaners by reservation. After hearing some of the sales and service complaints about dealers I'm glad to have gotten mine from Schomp - they're terrific.

I agree. Schomp is awesome. They provide MINI loaners as well as BMW 325 loaners if they MINI's are all gone.

will have to go into Buckeyemcs's dealership for a new tranny next week. The new service manager told me they will in a few weeks be getting Mini loaners in.

>>Baron MINI in Merriam, KS (Kansas City Metro Area) has loaner cars, for both scheduled maintenance and for overnight repairs. They have provided me with a BMW 3 series for both one day and three day time periods. It is necessary to make an appointment ahead of time so they can schedule a loaner for you.

I had a Baron loaner for 12 days back in July. They fried my computer doing an upgrade and sent us home to Tulsa with a 325i. When my car was ready they trucked it on a flatbed to my office and loaded up the BMW.

Can't ask for more than that!

I just went to make an appointment for my first service, without asking the service advisor told me I would be getting a loaner. My appointment is for 12/22, I'll report back on my experience at HABBERSTAD mini. I'll be getting v36 at the time, its making me a little nervous. My car started out with the stumble and low power starts in 1st gear yoyo and all. With a 15% reduction pulley and an alta intake the low power starts in 1st gear were gone and the stumble would only be aparent on my first take off after warming the car. The yoyo has always been there but I've learned to live with it. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope for the best outcome. I'm very pleased with my mcs, quirks and all. I guess having owned a couple of DUCATI motorcycles trained me for quirky machine ownership.
By the way, I did purchase my car from HABBERSTAD mini of huntington N.Y.
So far so good.

Just to let you know, my MC goes in tomorrow 12/23/03 for a new trans due to bad synchros. They are supposed to have a Mini for me as a loaner. Hope next time you need one you get one. Did you know that they have a new service manager, Jeremy? Seems more attined to the customer's needs than the previous one.
I'll let you know how it goes, and Happy Holidays!
