Did you ever notice that? Famous people dying, stories about disasters, number of outs in an inning...it goes on and on.
And so it was that while I was driving home yesterday and I came across a huge pot hole that hadn't been there before and I bottomed out, I just knew there was more in store for me. I didn't have to wait long for number two. It happened no more than 5 minutes later. A landscaping/yard clean up truck made a lane change in front of me (city street) and before I could back off or change lanes he lost a huge branch out of the back of his truck. It bounced twice before it collided with the front of my car, bounced up and rolled right over my bonnet. The truck got through the next light and I got stopped. I pulled over to survey the damage. Most of the scratches will buff out. Not too sure about one of them though. No, I didn't get his plate number. So I waited and waited for the inevitable number three. The car was safe and sound in the garage as I served poisoned apples and candy to the neighbourhood kids (it's a joke okay? don't anybody go snitching me off to the local police). Finally after the last of the little goblins had screamed "Trick or Treat" I began to put away the table I had the candies on. As I'm walking past my car, I was momentarily startled by a family of crickets who had taken up residence in my garage. I got too close to the bumper and manged to hit it with the only piece of metal on the entire table (the rest was plastic) and took a nice 1/2 inch diameter by about 1/4 inch deep chunk out of the bumper. I then proceeded to swallow half a bottle of vodka and went to bed hoping it was all a horrible Halloween dream. It wasn't. Anybody know what to use as a filler for the bumper gouge before I hit it with some touch up paint? Any good hangover cures would be appreciated too. Ken |

I can highly reccomend Pedialyte for the hangover. Used to work wonders for me when I used to drink!

Cheers! Clover  |
I too find that a hamburger is the only thing that can possible cure a really bad hamburger.

>> >>Cheers! >>Clover  bummer. but i can also vouch for Langka. when applied correctly, you can't even tell there was paint damage. |
Thanks people. So if I understand this correctly I shove a little hamburger into the gouge and then liberally apply Langka whilst sipping Pedialyte. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks again.
