Where are the Mini's made?
 
I'm new to the Mini's. Just got a Brittish Green 2005 S, WOW! Love it!!!! I know that BMW was involved, Are they made in Germany or UK? Already named it Cricket.

Our MINI's are designed by and owned by BMW but they are assembled in Oxford.

1st gen engines in Brazil. Manual transmissions in Germany.

The Gen I engines were from Brazil, the new engines are built at Hams Hall in England.

First I've heard of this, but if it was assembled in Italy it would break down a Hell of a lot more.
