I'm Back! Got another Mini!

Turns out, after I bought my first 04' MCS, the financing didn't go through so I had to give it back and have been without a car for about a year :( (I've only had my street bike) But recently (yesterday) I got another MINI!!!!!

It's a 2003 6 Speed Mini Cooper S. Used, has like 100,000 miles but I got it at a good price and it's in great condition!!!

Just installed the AUX jack that I bought for the other Mini on this one and it works great! Only thing I noticed about it is that it Idles a little low, other than that it runs great!

Glad you got your Mini!

Wowza, 100k miles. I thought I was nuts when I bought my first one that had 50050 miles on it.

I'd recommend getting the s/c fluid changed. Could be an involved process though, but you could easily add a reduction pulley at the same time.

congrats! great story, glad to have ya back in the family. =)

Congrats on the purchase! 100K is nothing on these cars. I wish you many happy motoring miles!

I agree with nabeshin, do some supercharger care and all of the other maintaenance asap, dont waste time preserve the life of that thing. If oyu take care of it right it should be with you for a while. But superchargers do tend to go at the higher mileage.

Yeah, I know it has a good amount of miles but I figure it this way, my girlfriend just got rid of her 1996 Ford Explorer and it had 170,000 with no problems, just think, this is a Mini! A Better engineered car! But I agree, I am going to look right into the little things like fluids to increase the life of it. Thanks for all the advice and welcome backs! And it's a for sure that I get to keep this one! :)

And also, 15% on the pulley right?

Yes 15%. You could go 17%, but I think you'll find that you can make plenty of power with a 15%. That's the route I went, and I have been happy, and so has my supercharger.

About how much is it to get done? Mini dealer or should I go local?
