R50/53 Wrapped my headlight rings in dry carbon today...

Wrapped my headlight rings in dry carbon today...

here are the photos.
the vinyl has glue. the primer is just to help with the small tight curves around the edges.
its an adhesive promoter.

this set is going on the classifieds, they were extra rings from a set of joeymodded lights i picked up.

Looks awesome. Where did you get the vinyl? Can they be painted over with clearcoat?

so once you place the wrap over the ring you just heat it up? Does is just heat shrink to fit or do you have to squeegie it flat as well?

and yep, just place heat, press with finger. the squeegee is too big for the rings.

and yes. you can clear them
