My air bag light is on. Monrovia, CA Dealer says the wiring harness and module need to be replaced. I have a 2003 MC 85,000+ miles. Way out of waranty. Cost to replace ~ $1500.

They have been very understanding so far to the fact that it is a lot of money. I called MINI North america to try and get them to pay for it but no luck.

What else can I do? Does anyone know of a simular situation?

 

If your not mechanical inclined find independent shop that is familiar with Mini.
