My MA just called and my MINI arrived today and I'm not able to pick it up until next friday. He offered to install any accessories I want in the mean time. One of the only things I really want are the white tail lamps but they are a little spendy. Does anyone have the mudflaps or anyother item you think is necessary.

I got the front mud flaps and although not perfect, they make a difference and I'm definitely glad I have them. They're easy to do yourself.
Before I picked up my MINI, I had the dealer install bonnet stripes. I think they're necessary. Mine came without a spoiler, so I had one installed later. Most of the stuff I added on, I did myself, later. You're getting floormats, right? |
Ya, I will probably just stick with some floor mats. black ones.

Get the black rubber MINI floormats, they're the best!
|
What about tinted windows? It would be awesome to pick it up with the windows already tinted, dealership quoted me $199.

Rubber Floor Mats, Winter's a comin' and those mats are great.
JCW if $$ is no object. Cordoba Leather gaiters for shift and brake, cordoba knobs for 'em too. |
I'm going to agree with the black rubber floor mats. I just picked up my MINI almost a month ago and got nothing but the rubber mats. At first I thought they scuffed too easily - but a little Macquire's Vinyl/Rubber cleaner and those things clean up in one swipe. I think I will be keeping them.

Black rubber floormats!!! they are the best. Take them out and hose them off.
If it's an S, schedule a roadtrip down to Helix in Philly to get a new pulley. Maybe in a week he'll have the ECU stuff done as well. |
I would not take my MINI home until they got the stainless steel skid plate installed. Bottom protection is very important..........it has saved me at least once......
