What Should I Do???

I have an 02 MCS with 82xxx miles on it. I'm on the wall as to keeping it when i know that expensive repairs may be coming anywhere in the next 10-20 thousand miles, or trading/selling it and getting an 06 mcs with relatively low mileage, 20-35 thousand miles. any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

What expensive repairs are you referring to? If you are thinking of the SC, it is entirely possible to pull it off before it grenades, add new seals and top off the fluid, and not have to worry about it for quite a while. If you do it yourself, it like a 30 or 40 dollar job, it just takes a little while to do.

Expensive repairs usually only happen because people don't do preventative maintenance.

I don't disagree with the others, but I would consider selling if you found the right car at a good price.
But I usually try to get out of my daily drivers by about 100k. They still have a lot of life left, but usually by then are 7-8 years old, and getting tired looking (wear and tear). And I don't want to deal with a potential breakdown and/or more maintenance. (I have a couple hobby cars that give me plenty of that!)
On the otherhand, if your '02 is pristine and otherwise current on maintenance, why not hold it?
