What are these options and how do they work?

I just got the options list for my car and some of these need clarification;

Heated Windscreen Washer Nozzles/Door mirror/Drivers lock; Do these do their thing automatically? When the temp hits a certain number? When the cabin heat is turned on? When the bun warmers are turned on?

Storage Compartment Package; Where?

Interior light package; How's the option differ then stock?

Additional Ventilator/Fan; Hows this work?

Cop control Control unit CO2; Huh?

In the Standard equipment list it has "Hot Climate Version"? How does that differ from the Cold Climate Version?

Thanks for any insight you have,
Mark

Have you chatted with a Motoring Advisor about this? Another option is to call MINI USA. I'm sure someone there would be very happy to assist with answers. Most of these seem to be more or less self explanatory to me.

Just for S & G, my guesses are:

1) When you start the car and have the switch(es) turned on, the selected the heating system is activated.
2) The boot is really the only storage area on the MINI... maybe the cargo net (or dividers?) is what they're referring to.
3) Varying hues of light which can be adjusted by the driver. I saw this on the '08 loaner I drove. It's not bad.
4) More cooling fans - maybe for the rear passengers too.
5) We exhale Carbon Dioxide with every breath; not sure what that has to do with law enforcement control.
6) I'll bet the Hot version has a more robust A/C system and the Cold version has a more robust Heater system.

This is on a second hand 2004 if it makes a difference.
I don't have any extra (unexplained) switches for extra heating or lighting devices.
The service manager at the dealer was guessing as well!

You don't indicate whether this is domestic USA, or some other country. Might make a difference. I have a 2004, and none of those options are familiar to me.

Sounds like someone is trying to use a next gen car option list for the 04.

Are you looking at the original Moroney sticker?

The options list came from the VIN readout at the dealer that includes all of the basics like color and interior codes, build date and so on. The items that I recognize fit the car such as fabric seats, 8 spoke wheels etc.

One more one I just noticed, Dummy Salapa! The optional dummy salapa is something everyone should go for, I can't imagine how bad my mini would be without a salapa of the dummy variety.

The VIN readout is from Rasmussen Mini in Portland.

Dummy Salapa.... you don't say!

I think it's the title the Mini salesperson assigned to the original buyer.

Hmmm, I should check out what title was given to the original owner of my Mini.

ummmm ... were this a non-MINI dealer ... aka a typical used car dealer I'd say these were "make em up" descriptions of standard equipment.

But as others have said .... Nooooo, that does not seem 2 be the case.

My recommendation... what ever they say about the car is doo doo ......

walk away

So make something up. Nobody else know the answers so at least we can get some entertainment value. (no pressure to be humorous however).
